当大部分中国以及世界很多的赛车运动人士都把注意力集中在中国的方程式、房车、拉力和摩托车比赛,所有人都想在这个市场里分到一杯羹,但却几乎很少人人知道,在中国最大的赛车运动实际上是越野汽车比赛和大型活动。
在宽广廖茂的中国大地上,有着种种充满极具挑战性的越野路线… … 四轮的吉普、UTV(多功能多地形车辆)是中国最畅销的汽车品种之一,越来越多人喜欢开着它们去野外探索险阻的自然环境。
中国的越野车比赛始于约8年前,由一群热爱越野运动的人士组织大家一起来美丽的新疆开着越野车去探险,慢慢就变成一年一度在9月的名闻中外的“中国环塔越野大赛”。
塔克拉玛干越野赛在其独有的优势中很快成长起来,并成为中国最重要的长途越野拉力赛,其通常为期10-11天,在辽阔的新疆省内需要穿过多种高难度的地势。
在过去的3年里,BG以Ohlins的越野ORQ减震系统成功地拿到了中国专业长途和场地越野的大份额的市场,同时我们也一起为使用我们代理的高性能产品如 :Ohlins, Brembo刹车,Sabelt安全装备和赛车服,Stilo头盔提供了贴身的技术支援服务。
在2013年,中国的中央电视台-CCTV 联合中国的汽车/摩托车运动协会看到了中国正在以高速增长的越野车市场,他们在2013年组办了一个全新的长途越野赛事,名为“中国大越野锦标赛”,简称 CGR = China Grand Rally.
2013年第一届的CGR,报名人数比想象中少很多,这主要是因为报名费用极高,加上赛事全程要经过4个北方省份和长达15-16天的花销对于大多数较小型的车队和私人车手来说是一笔很大的销费。
2014的中国大越野赛事始发点是著名的北京八达岭长城下,在一些装配了Ohlins减震车队的要求下,BG的Steven,我们西班牙工程师Victor和我们中国悬挂系统工程师小姜组成的技术团队于8月29日来到赛事发车大营,希望有足够的时间给这些车队调教减震。
2014的大越野赛在8月31日从北京八达岭长城出发,穿过内蒙古和甘肃省,最后在世界著名的丝绸之路主城市敦煌结束。
2014的报名依然人数不多,越野汽车约40多辆、5辆越野摩托车和5-6辆渐渐流行的多地形UTV车,尽管参加车辆不多,但大多都是中国最顶级的专业赛车队而全部都有厂家或赞助商的大力支持。
中国销量最大的吉普车制造商“哈佛”车队,是本次赛事其中一个最大的车队,他们的主车手也是BG的长期好友韩魏,哈佛车队全程由与他们合作的法国达喀尔车队外国技术人员负责,每一台赛车都是经过精心改装并且价格不菲。
其他很多顶级车队都拥有几百万以上的赛车,大部分都是由他们从法国或其他世界达喀尔车队的技术人员管理,所以就这一次的赛事费用就已经极为惊人。
BG在2天里替使用我们Ohlins减震的几个车队提供了调教和技术指导,并和其他车队讨论有关2015年赛季中使用我们Ohlins, Brembo, Sabelt 和Stilo产品的合作形式。
大越野正式开赛时间是2014年8月31日,BG将会给您带来后续的报道!
While most of China and the rest of the world Motorsport operators were focusing on Formula, Touring Car, Rally and Motorcycle racing in China and all wanted a share of the market, but little do most people know that in China, the biggest Motorsport is actually Auto Off Road Racing and Recreational events.
With the Vast country and plenty adventure routes, 4WD jeeps, UTV are one of the best selling lines of cars in China and many people took to the Wilderness and experience driving in Natures’ harsh environments.
The 1st China Off Road Racing started 8 years ago with a few die hard Off Roaders organizing the later famous Xinjiang Taklimakan Rally.
The Taklimakan Rally grew in Strength and became China’s most important long distance Off Road Rally lasting usually 10-11 days inside some of the toughest Terrain in the vastXinjiangProvince.
Over the last 3 years, BG has, very successfully captured a demanding share of this Off Road market with our Ohlin’s Off Road ORQ Suspensions and we regularly offer Tech support to many Teams and drivers using our high performance products such as Ohlins suspensions, Brembo Brakes and Sabelt safety Equipment.
But in 2013, Seeing the fast growing market of long distance Off Road race inChina, the China CCTV and the China Motorsport Federation has jointly set up a new Long Distance Off Road event namely : The “China Grand Rally” CGR.
In 2013, with the 1st CGR, there were a lot less entries than expected, this is mainly due to the high Entry fee and cost of racing the full distances of 15 days over 4 provinces are too high for most smaller and privateers teams.
The 2014 China Grand Rally started at the famous resort ground of Badaling Great Wall of Beijing and with the request from teams equipped with Ohlins suspensions, the BG Tech team consisted of BG Boss Steven, Spanish Engineer Victor and our Chinese suspension Engineer Jiang at the starting compound on 29/8/2014in order to have enough time to set up cars for our Ohlins equipped teams.
The 2014 China Grand Rally was cut short to 14 days due to the race will not be entering the Xinjiang province due to security reasons, so the Race will Start from the Great Wall of Beijing on31/8/14going through Inner Mongolia, Qinghai province and ended 14 days later at the famous Silk Road City of Dunhuang.
The 2014 entry again was not so big with around 40 odd Off Road Cars, 5 Motorcycles and 5-6 UTVs.
But despite the smaller entry numbers, but most of the Car teams are the top Professional Team inChinawith big Factory support or sponsorships.
China’s biggest Jeep/MPV manufacturer “Havel “ team was one of the biggest with BG supported Top rider “Han Wei as the No 1 driver, the Havel team was fully manned by their French Dakar Team with each of their Race cars fully modified and worth a fortune each.
Most of the Top teams were on mega $ racing machines and all manned by their partner French or EU Dakar racing teams so each teams will have spend a fortune doing just this 1 race.
BG has tech supported quite a few teams on setting up the suspension for their cars, and have discussed with all other teams on having Ohlins for their 2015 season.
The official Race started on 31/8/14and we’ll keep you all posted upon the completion of the race.
