On 24-26/11/2017 is the last round of the China Chengdu South West Elite racing Festival, BG has been partnering Chengdu Circuit to operate the S.W. Elite Super Bike Championship for the 6th Year in a row.

    During the 6 years, we have seen the fast  growth of the China S.W. inland regions of Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan Province’s Biking communities, especially on the Motorsport arena as supported provided by BG.

    The last Round of the Championship was on late Nov, so everyone was worried about the low temp and also weather forecast was for a wet Weekend,  But as always,  The weekend weather although is quite cold but the Sun was out most of the time so the Track temp was acceptable providing if tyre warmers and a bit more warming up is observed.

    Sat qualifying see local Hero Huang Yan Jia taking the pole followed closely with new comer, Beijing Pengyuan Guizhou Team’s Pro rider : Chen Pengyuan right behind,  and a group of 4 other local riders at the 2nd Group dicing out for the lead. 

    Due to this is the last round of the 2017 Championship, so the circuit has organized a Local Harley Group for a Parade around the Track and also a Car Drift show in noon time. 

    As chatting with the Harley Group members, Despite Chengdu City restricted the use of Motorcycle in the Metropolitan regions, but we’re told that Chengdu still have over  a 1000 Harleys, making Chengdu a popular region for Harley riders as Chengdu has access to great riding routes in Yunnan, Guangxi, Shannxi provinces that has some of the greatest scenic route for bikers.

    Sunday Race was won by new comer, Beijing’s Chen and local hero Huang came 2nd,  most impressive is 19 years old US young rider Mason who came 1st in the Novice group as this is his 1st race in China.

    Everyone was very pleased with the 2017 Season in Chengdu But BG and Chengdu Cirucit management is already starting to work on a much bigger and popular 2018 season. 

    Sunday night was the annual Chengdu S.W. Elite Racing Festival’s Prize presentation Banquet,  all the 2/4 wheel Team members, Drivers and Riders, Sponsors and Gov’t officials were present for the event.  BG’s Steven was awarded the Year most contribution to the Chengdu Circuit and also as a Prize presentation Guest of Honor presenting Prizes to many of the Winning Car Teams during the evening.  The event was fill with Joy and applause from all the people present and everyone wished each other a much better 2018 season.

    We’d like to thank everyone at Chengdu Circuit for the great Racing Festival for the last 6 years, and also all the Teams and Rider that participated in the races making the Championship a most successful in China.
