2017 Hong Kong Motorcycle Festival a Great Success

       For the past 10 years, Mr. Ian Foster of C.A.M.  a Hong Kong Classic Car organization has been getting the Hong Kong Gov’t to Grant him the right to use a closed Portion of the Public Ground in Hong Kong’s most popular Central district to run the Hong Kong Motorcycle Festival.

       This Festival is the only occasion in Hong Kong that many Motorcycle dealerships, Bike shops, Biker groups and bikers of all walks to get together for a Great Sunday Festival.

       Over the years, the number of exhibitors and bikers has increased many times but the 2018 Motorcycle Festival has to be the greatest event of all.

       BG/Star Bike, being a old friend of Ian, has been supporting the event from the 1st time 10 years ago and this has become a yearly event that we get to meet many old and new bikers and friends in 1 day.

    Due to the massive High Performance product brands represented by BG/Star Bike, so as early as 4 days before the e vent, BG staffs has been busy setting up display units and racks and by Friday,  BG Staff Alan from Zhuhai, Beijing Staff Shen, Taiwan biker friend Guo, all come from far to help out getting ready and during the event at BG Stand.

    In Sept 2018, BG has reached a sole distributorship agreement with one of the most reputable Japanese Engine Lubricant company “Speed Master”  to be their Hong Kong and Macau’s Auto and motorcycle Lubricant product representative in the region. So the 2018 HK Motorcycle Festival is a great event to promote Speed Master’s Motorcycle Lubricant and other performance products.

    The Team started at 7.00 am Sunday and by 9:30, the 3 x BG/Star Bike/Speed master  Stands has been erected and ready for action.

    The 5/11/17 Sunday weather has been great especially in the morning, and many people started to arrived to the show as early as 9 am, but as time goes on,  great groups of bikers started to arrived to the show after lunch time as many has gone with their early Sunday morning Ride out and coming to the show after their lunch.

    All through the afternoon till 5.30, the Festival was packed with thousands of people and the BG stand , was surrounded by Bikers of old and new.  The most sought after display products has to be the Nolan, X-Lite helmets, Brembo brakes,  Bitubo suspensions,  Arrow Exhaust, Bazzaz ECU, Marchesini wheels, Kineo wheels,  Sprint Filters, many new contacts were made and our HK staffs will be following up after the event.

    The Motorcycle Culture in HK has not been a great example despite HK has the cheapest country to buy and own a motorcycle, but due to the small area of HK, Motorcycles ownership numbers has been the smallest compared to the population, but with the opening of the Great China 2 wheel markets, this has help the growing of the HK Motorcycle markets and we’re expecting a even greater 2019 Hong Kong Motorcycle Festival.
