BG at the NEW Jiangsu – Nanjing WANTRACK Motorsport Circuit

目前，中国有7个专业的汽摩赛车场，始于1997年的珠海是最早的一个，接着是上海天马、北京金港、成都国际赛车场、上海F1及较新的广东肇庆和内蒙古的鄂尔多斯赛车场。
在最近1-2年，大量流传着将有多个新建的赛车场成立的新闻，其中包括：
- 中国吉利汽车在北京和天津中间的超大型霸州赛车场
- 武汉政府组建的武汉大型赛车场
- 重庆赛车场
- 浙江绍兴赛车场
- 湖北南小型赛车场
- 北京赛车摩托车运动综合赛车场
- 浙江宁波赛车场
- 江苏南京赛车场
2014年中旬，江苏南京赛车场是唯一的赛车场确实是在动工，并在完成过程中。
2014年八月，知道南京国际赛车场即将竣工，BG前往参观了这个中国最新的赛车场。
2014年8月25日周日，BG的Steven和BG赛事总监William龙从上海乘坐每小时300公里高速的高铁往江苏的南京市， 300多公里的距离仅花了1小时7分钟就到达， 但需要换乘另一辆只需15分钟的高铁从南京往边上的溧水市， 实际上，如坐飞机往南京溧水的万驰赛车场将更为方便，赛车场只离南京机场10多分钟的车程。
南京万驰赛场的工程差不多全部完成，只待铺上最后一层的沥青路面和弯道里外的路肩便全部竣工， BG人员和赛场主管在赛道上边走边谈有关增加安全设施的地方包括摆放海绵包，增加防撞轮胎墙、移动金属护栏和缓冲区的局部改动。
赛车场的总长度约为2.2公里，但有一条超过500米的大直道可以给超级跑车和大排量摩托达到较高的速度。赛道的设计有极高的挑战性，其中包含了发夹弯、S型湾，大圆弯等等，为车手们提供了有一定难度的专业赛道。
在赛车场前场有一个长达差不多400米的广场，可举办大型活动及汽摩嘉年华， 在广场尽头更有一个卡丁车赛道，给了很多当地人来此体验赛车的乐趣。
在赛车场的另一头边，有一个全方位的越野赛车场在建设当中，这个越野场地可以为所有2/4轮越野活动和赛事所需的设施，所有这些配套让万驰成为一个多功能的赛车场，我们相信一旦赛车场正式开放，必将受到赛车爱好者的踊跃参与。
接着BG和赛车场管理层详谈有关双方的合作事宜， BG作为中国多个中国赛车场的超级摩托车赛事的组办和合作主办单位，我们亦探讨了与南京万驰赛车场在2014和2015年度的赛事和活动的合作方向和推广。
BG也将组织我们专业的SBK车手去试驾这个新的赛道和我们的专业越野汽车和越野摩托车手测试这里的越野场地，这样可以尽早给赛车场
一些较专业的意见，以便可以把赛道做到更为安全和会有更高的驾驶乐趣。
虽然万驰赛车场的赛道只有2.2公里，但国际汽联和中国汽联都已经来过观察和给了改良的意见。万驰赛车场是在江苏省一个很重要的据点，可以给南京和周边上海、江苏、浙江、安徽省份的赛车爱好者提供了一个极为方便和高水平的赛车场所。

Currently, there are 7 major Motorsport Circuits in China with Zhuhai being the earliest starting from 1997, then there was Shanghai Tianma, Beijing Golden Port, Chengdu , Shanghai F1, and the latest being Guangdong Zhaoqing Circuit and the Inner Mongolia Ordoz Circuit.
But in the last couple of years, news of many new Motorsports Facilities to be built was catching on like wild fire with the most talked about being:
1. A Mega Circuit in Bazhou (between BeijingandTianjin) built by GEELY Car of China
2. Wuhan Circuit built by Wuhan Govt
3. ChongqingCircuit
4.ZhejiangShaoxing Circuit
5.HubeiCircuit
6. Beijing Motorsport complex
7.ZhejiangNingboCircuit
8.JiangsuNanjingCircuit
The Wantrack Circuit’s Track was near completion waiting only to add the finer Top Tarmac layer and the Rumble strip around the Turns. The BG visitors and Circuit managers took a walk along the track giving our opinions of added safety issues and also minor changes to the constructions of the Tyrewalls, metal Armco and run off areas.
The Circuit was just under 2.2 km long but with a over 500 m straight that give a good run for high speed super cars and Superbikes. The Track laid out was nicely done with different corners, hairpin, Chicanes and long sweep turns making the Circuit an extremely Technical one to tackle.
Then there was the 400 m long open ground in the front of the Circuit Building that can host many events and a Carnival area, then there is a good size Gokart track at the end of the open ground that see a lot of local people coming to have their share of driving fun.
On the other side of the main Circuit, there is a Full scale Off Road Circuit under construction and this OR Circuit can provide all the needed set up for both 2/4 wheels off Road giving the Wantrack Circuit a multi purpose facilities that we believe will attract big turn out once its officially open.
Then there was the in depth discussion with the top management of the Circuit over the cooperation between BG and the Wantrack Circuit, its is agreed that BG, being the biggest organizer and promoter of most of the SBK events in various Circuits in China will prepare a proposal for all the 2 wheels racing events in the 2014 and 2015 season.
BG will also organize our Pro SBK Rider to test ride the new Circuit and also our Pro Off road Car and off Road ATV Drivers to come and test drive the Off Road track so to give more professional suggestions for further improvement of the new Circuit.
The Wantrack Circuit despite being only a 2.2 km Circuit but was already Homologated by FIA and China’s 2/4 wheel Motorsport Federation. The Facility, being in a very important location of Jiangsu province that can provide Drivers and Riders from neighboring Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui province a great venue for their love of Motorsport.
BG will give further report of the Wantrack Circuit after its completion and with our Pro Drivers and riders doing test drive sometime in Sept. and we welcome the addition of the Wantrack Circuit to China’s series of Motorsport Circuit and another great venue for all of us.
